KARL-ANTHONY TOWNS, THIS YEARS NO.1 OVERALL PICK PLAYED HIS FIRST EVER NBA GAME EARLIER TODAY AT THE SUMMER LEAGUE IN THOMAS AND MACK CENTER IN LAS VEGAS, NEVADA AS THE MINNESOTA TIMBERWOLVES PLAYED AGAINST THE LOS ANGELES LAKERS SUMMER LEAGUE TEAM WHICH FEATURES THE SECOND OVERALL PICK D'ANGELO RUSSELL.


THE T-WOLVES DOMINATED THE GAME AS SECOND YEAR GUARD ZACH LAVINE SCORED 24 POINTS AND TALLIED 6 REBOUNDS TO LEAD THE T-WOLVES PAST THE LAKERS IN A BLOWOUT. TOWNS CONTRIBUTED 12 POINTS AND 3 BOARDS. T-WOLVES WON THE GAME 81 -68.

BUT, EARLY IN THE GAME IN THE FIRST QUARTER TOWNS THROWS UP AN AIRBALL. HIS FIRST NBA SHOT ATTEMPT.
