THE DALLAS MAVERICKS WON ITS FIRST 2015 SUMMER LEAGUE GAME EARLIER AS IT DEFEATED THE LOS ANGELES LAKERS IN THE ROUND 1 OF THE SUMMER LEAGUE TOURNAMENT PLAYOFFS.

THE MAVERICKS LED ALMOST THE ENTIRE GAME AND WERE ABLE TO HOLD OFF THE STRONG RALLY BY THE LAKERS DURING THE  CLOSING MINUTES OF THE FOURTH AND FINAL QUARTER.

JEREMY TYLER OF THE MAVS HIT A PUT-BACK LAYUP WITH 1.4 SECONDS LEFT IN THE 4TH QUARTER AFTER THE DRIVING LAYUP OF MALIK WAYNS WENT LONG.

TYLER FINISHED WITH 25 POINTS AND 11 BOARDS AS THE MAVERICKS ADVANCED TO THE SECOND ROUND AGAINST THE NBA D-LEAGUE SELECTION ON THURSDAY (FRIDAY MANILA TIME).
